Should I be choosing a wedding dress soon?

What do you guys think?

Thanks in advance!! !

I think you'd want to order earlier rather than later if you have certain dress in mind already. You can always buy one off the rack if you're not picky with the styles but it will probably require extensive alterations, which can take some time, too.

I don't know, my wedding is next month and I haven't chosen what to wear yet.

Congratulations.

Congratulations!
Well, I'd start looking for options now.
My best friend got married this month, and the process of choosing the perfect dress is so hard.
I mean, you can start looking at different models, thinking which one will suit you the most. Then you need to start trying them on to see whether they will fit well.
And if you want to sew your own dress, then it's also a good idea to have a slow start already

***I wanted to bump this thread because I have new insight about the situation***

I have changed my stance about getting a wedding dress from a thrift shop or consignment store!! !

Why?

Because I realize that I would wear it for only one day so it doesn't logically make sense to spend a thousand dollars on a brand-new dress!

Also, if I get my wedding dress from a thrift shop that means I won't have to wait for David and his sister to come home which will make everything go faster!

What do you guys think?

I think that sounds like a really good plan

If you wear a common size or smaller size thrift stores might have something nice for you. You wouldn't know until you go look. I hope you find something good there. If the size is very close you can have it altered. I no longer shop in thrift stores here any more because they got rid of the fitting rooms.
