In my book, I advocate for the separation from allistic society. Tell me what you think.

Link doesn't work.

Anyhow, I don't agree that we need separation from allistic society, but I think we do need a much better organized autistic subculture than we have now.

See the following pages on my website:

- Longterm visions for the autistic community
- Autistic workers project

Despite my doubts about the feasibility of it I am not against the idea of a state or political entity of some kind. If people can make it work great.

That said I have no desire to live in such a place. Most of my family, friends and things I know are from the NT world. While a lot of ableism and other bad things from the NT world have hurt me I have known a lot of good and great NT people and enjoy some things most NT’s enjoy.

Might work for some, but not me. I generally get along with NTs, because I'm just as human as everyone else. I just don't cope very well when around bullies or cliques. But some autistic people can be bullies and form cliques too.

The link was working, I guess it's been removed. I did download the PDF, and started reading it, but haven't got around to finishing.
(I also have several books I've bought in the last few months I haven't read, so me not reading it isn't a reflection of the content, more my attention span, busy life, etc).

I've wondered about a world split between people who appear to want a world where they can engage in war, fighting, anger, being "real men", patriotism, various forms of bigotry, domination, enslaving each other, etc, and the rest of us who just want to live more peacefully, in a better fairer society, with more equality, where people can find their worth in the world, without blocks being in their way because the circumstances of their birth, without having to work in dehumanizing conditions all day (or night) every day (or night) etc.

I don't think my idea is very realistic.

Well I don't think an autistic-only society would be utopia. I think we would be capable of running a society, but there'll still be conflict.
I hate when people say we won't be able to run a society because none of us are "social enough". Some of us are, ones like myself would probably be in charge of the social side of things. And because we're all so diverse, we'd probably run quite a good society, to be fair. But autistic people can be greedy just like anyone can (you know Elon Musk?), and greed is always the path to destruction in any society. If people were less greedy, most the world's problems wouldn't exist. But the rich just want to get richer, which leaves the poor poorer. That would happen in any society.

The split in my version wouldn't be based on neurotype, just on people's need to fight or not. I had envisioned a half/half split around the world, without transfer once the choice was made. I think though, there would be various zones instead. People would be free to cross from one zone or another. There would need to be some sort of stringent enforcement of anti-dominance... lol, not sure that works... A dominating enforcement of anti-domination. Hmmm.

There would be RISK-OF-DEATH zones, where people, groups of people could enter and kill each other. Sounds horrific to me.
As time progresses the RISK-OF-DEATH zones might diminish, or, thanks to biology, not.

There'd be all sorts of other zones, with various states of risk...

Or perhaps AI and brain-linked virtual reality will serve us. Go fight your wars in virtual worlds created by AI.

I believe we should be accepted by allistic society instead of separating from it. If we separated I might not get to see my mom or my brother and other relatives I care about who aren't on the spectrum.

But like allistic society is ever going to accept us. It still can't accept people who are black or Jewish or Muslim or Hispanic or First Nations or female or poor or lgbt.

I am Autistic, my bride is not. I think we would favor coexistence.
