Anyone into pre-code horror comics of the late 1940s through 1954? I first got acquainted with these when I was a youngster and got ahold of some early to late 1970s Eerie Publications horror comic books. Keep in mind, this is not the same as the comic magazine called Eerie, but the publication company of Eerie. This company reprinted old pre-code horror comics and put them in their black and white magazines. At the time, I thought this company had created those masterpieces. Later I learned they were simply recopying older comics. Oh well, the images placed on the covers were gruesome, to say the least.
Since then, I have found myself looking at the old horror comics from the pre-code era. I read a lot of them on the internet, as I don't want to start a physical collection of these books. I am satisfied with my six Eerie Publication magazines.
Anyway, I was wondering if anyone here has an interest in pre-code horror comics? Hope to hear from some of you.
