Creeping around when everyone is asleep

Given 90% of members are in the northern hemisphere when I'm active here everyone is asleep. I'm not sure if my appearance is like Mr sandman and all the boys and girls need to go to bed or my activity is like nearly headless Nick and the few awake folk are like the headless horseman of Hogwarts.

I'm a total night owl, so you probably don't have to creep much around me.

This immediately sprung to mind

Its a short advert where a man sneaks around the house in the middle of the night to get himself a drink of R Whites lemonade

Through excitement about said drink he forgets himself and begins to sing about said drink. He therefore wakes up his wife, she comes down the stairs and he offers her a drink

The advert stops there

I'm guessing it's because the couple abandons the drink in favour of something else that's less appropriate for the telly

That's easy.
I habitually been awake past midnight.
I even go around and walk alone at 3am occasionally.

Partially because I don't have a real circadian rhythm.
And partially couldn't sleep for reasons outside insomnia (I don't have insomnia -- where it's my head that doesn't like sleep. My head likes to sleep. Even coffee couldn't help me stay up at night.)

Even have several thoughts of bringing a blanket, lay down on a middle of a street, roll around it -- and knowing there will be no witnesses nor a chance that any vehicles would be going about.

Or someone else's driveway if given chance.
Or at certain parks where I can just twirl around without a care.

Several trips around 24 hr shops, only meeting graveyard shift employees...


The only danger I have was going about a busy road or a road where vehicles would afford to speed up at nighttime...
Else a group of bastards or idiots are scarce -- or that I never encountered them for years now. Or at certain places where shady deals are known to be done.

Or, if I really, really did something stupid like outright climbing into places where I shouldn't, which even includes being within the sight of and/on/into my household home.

when I was in my 20s I would have problems sleeping and go outside for a walk.

I'd finish my stroll buying a hotdog in the 24hr service station. then walk back to my apartment and fall asleep.
