Welcome c95. like your collection of antique fans . Got me a Old Single blage desk fan ,made of Bakelite . Held onto it over 50 years myself, and last checked , still operational . not sure of brand ? right now.
Jakki, if you are able, I would love to see a picture of your fan at some point in the future! Bakelite fans are a category that are not well represented in my collection unfortunately. There is a fully bakelite model made by Diehl for Singer (same company as the sewing machines) called the Ribbonair. I have always wanted one of these, they are quite difficult to find. Other manufacturers like Westinghouse, Barber Colman, Freshn'd Aire, and Roto Beam also used bakelite in some of their designs. I hope you continue to enjoy your fan for many years to come!

If a formal diagnosis is not needed and would create problems, then it should probably be delayed
You can get an
informal diagnosis from
AQP.S. You can use WP even if you know you definitely are not Autism. All you need to be here is a polite interest in the topic.
Thank you for this Double Retired. I am content without a diagnosis. I am privileged in the sense that I do not require accommodations. I do find that I have much more in common with people who are autistic, which is what brought me here. I took the test you linked and scored 48/50. Thank you for welcoming me!
