Today head cashier Juan had the nerve to ask me if I could take seven shopping carts full of garbage from the trash pile to Receiving in ten minutes. Home Depot, lot attendant. There was no physical fitness test or medical exam. The garbage pile and Receiving are too far away. Hate feeling hurried. There was no practical reason why it had to get done in ten minutes. And I seriously doubt Juan could have done it in ten minutes. He acted so innocent, like he was not being unreasonable or demanding. Actually he almost acted friendly and calm. I like Juan a lot and I don't like that many people or things so whatever.

I finished in 72 minutes and told him. He didn't comment.

Terrified of getting made redundant for working "too slowly" or any other reason. ("At will" employee)

Today head cashier Juan had the nerve to tell me to sweep the sidewalk in 15 minutes and he said that I wasn't finished



those head cashier idiots have nothing to do and they feel like they have to micromanage other servants to justify their head cashier salary.

but whatever. i earn $21 hour and head cashiers only earn $22 hour. it's not like they earn so much $$$ that they do not qualify for government subsidized health insurance. (rolls eyes)

Maybe ASM Gabriel told Supervisor Angela and head cashier Angela not to put on time limits, but he didn't tell head cashier Juan

And if I tell Juan I don't think he will believe me

And I don't want to tattle to Gabriel again. Especially since I only have two more shifts left before it will have been 30 days since the next store said that I could transfer

On the other hand I am horrified that the next stores boss will be even worse than the current boss

yesterday stupid lil girl head cashier angela d had the nerve to tell me that i "should be able" to sweep the whole parking lot in 45 minutes, without even taking into account how dirty the parking lot was.

the job description said nothing about sweeping the parking lot in 45 minutes. that's unreasonable. the job had no medical exam and no physical fitness test.

plenty of people could sweep the whole parking lot in 45 minutes but they are the same ones that could run a mile in five minutes.

neither angela d nor i could sweep the whole parking lot in 45 minutes. that stupid lil girl has never done it before, so she doesn't know she can't.

she's so full of herself she makes me wanna puke.

They gonna provide a Power sweeper you can drive . And I wonder if your job description initially had time limit requirements and if they did? if that would involve somekind of unfair labour practices laws ? or discriminatory labour laws ? Might check into who the district manager or , whatever they are called For your company. Could be a name to keep in your back pocket ?
