New theory about SpongeBob...

Thanks to a video game I have been playing called "Tribe Nine" I realized something strange about SpongeBob SquarePants:

I believe Squidward and SpongeBob are being mind-controlled by Mr. Krabs and they act as his subordinates! !!

In other words, Mr. Krabs is manipulating his employees & taking away their free will/autonomy!

Most likely the damn Krabby Patty is being used as the manipulation & mind-control tool which might be the REAL REASON why they cannot reveal the secret formula?

Many episodes suggest that Squidward feels imprisoned at the Krusty Krab

SpongeBob too in the episode "Nature Pants"

What do you guys think about my analysis?

Squidward is not being maipulated by Krabby Patties because in one ep he said he had never had a Krabby Patty. The patties may have an addiction like effect but Squidward has not acted very addicted except he could not stop eating them in that one ep after trying one. In some other eps he is seen eating them at work but he still acts like he does not care for them. He probably only eats them occasionally while at work because Krabs won't let him bring outside food & he might get those patties for free. Squidward is likely still working there because he knows he's not qualified for other jobs, does not have the social skills to get other jobs, & he gets to sleep during his shift a bit. Basically Squidward is working there because he's a slacker.

SpongeBob however is the opposite of Squidward. SpongeBob's loves Krabby Patties & is obsessed with them. The combo of his special interest along with his personality of wanting to be very helpful makes him extremely easy for Krab's to exploit.

Hmm...do you think the reason for that is because Squidward is well-aware of Mr. Krabs' true ambitions and refuses to be corrupted by him?

And since SpongeBob is Autistic and the complete opposite of Squidward like you said @nick007 he is easily-manipulated by Krabs who just wants to take advantage of him!! !

So I am revising my theory because I feel I'm on the right track with this!

In addition to nick's point that squidward had never had a krabby patty but still worked there, there's also the fact that mr krabs sells lots of krabby patties, but nobody else seems to be "mind-controlled" into working there. Additionally, being a fry-cook seems to be one of spongebob's special interests - and he seems to take pride in being good at what he does.

Mind control seems more Plankton's thing, especially since he literally did take over spongebob's brain to control him into stealing a krabby patty, and has tried to manipulate spongebob repeatedly.
