Is it normal to not feel close to anyone? And not wanting any close friends, not enjoying social settings thats only about small talk, detesting warm, friendly people?

I believe this is completely normal and people have various causes. Some people avoid close contact to avoid loss, others can't stand such responsibilities. It's absolutely normal if you know you don't need it for one reason or another. . . Getting close friends is not a mandatory aspect of socializing too, especially if you're cool with friends you already have.

I've been focusing on just appreciating the acquaintances I bump into. I also don't want close friendship because I"m not in any shape for such. My advice is before you even think about seeking friendship from others is to befriend yourself and enjoy your own company.

Good luck and be well.
