I most certainly do :)

I was inspired to ask this question by the post of AnonymousAnonymous who stated in one of the discussions on the Random Discussions board that "he sometimes wears mismatched socks whenever he can't find a matching pair." :D

I personally couldn't do this because it would cause me a strong mental discomfort :? :| I remember it happened to me just once in my life - quite recently - when I lost one of my socks while lying in bed, it just fell off my foot and I couldn't find it so I just took another sock from a different pair.

But normally I'm totally obsessed with symmetry, I love order and hate chaos :| I'm a perfectionist of the highest order :D I'm even diagnosed with OCD. And what about you? :)

I do like it but then I also like to turn it into asymmetry

I don't like it when a persons face is too symmetrical

I like odd things as well

I think I decided to rebel against myself at some point and turn everything upside down

I'm so messy as well. If I see a neat pile I have to knock it down

But if I'm at art club and one of the ladies are making a nice symmetrical picture, I like looking at it because it calms my head down

I value symmetry.

I love the symmetry of peas in the pod, because they're so perfectly round.

Apart from outrageous poetic license, "Tyger, Tyger" bugs me because... seriously... What scares a Tiger ?
Surely the author meant "Fearsome"!

This was a problem for me whenever I played games like Animal Crossing or The Sims. The furniture has to be arranged as symmetrical as possible or the whole house would feel off balance. Maybe it's because the real world is so unbalanced I have to have some order to survive or stay sane.

When I'm browsing on my phone or programming for work I have to line up things on the screen to be symmetrical. Like each time I scroll to something different.

I loved the one attached to my chapel as a kid; it was a significant shortcut, made usable, even at night, by the fact that one set of my grand parents were buried there, and would surely not let me come to any harm. The first few times were trepidatious, but then it sank in that maybe ghosts don’t really exist.

From then on, any time it was my turn in “follow the leader”, all I had to do was head for the nearest one, and none of the other guys would even come through the gate!
