Hi everyone! I'm new here! I go by SpiderOptics online or "Spidey" for short. Some of my special interests include optics (particularly the interactions between light, mirrors, lenses and what effects can be created with them), optical illusions, hypnosis, neuroscience, writing, art, comics, fashion, video games (particularly those by Nintendo or for Nintendo systems), and inventing/making things!

Hope to meet some people on Wrong Planet who share some of my special interests.

I love writing, in fact I have a story copyrighted through the US Copyright Office as of four years ago. I have a second one in the process of being copyrighted through the US Copyright Office with the earliest I'll receive confirmation will be the Spring of next year.

I've developed a liking of abstract art and minimalist art.

Yeah I will be brutally honest and say my interest in comics themselves is much moreso DC than Marvel. Particular favorites of mine include the Batman and Flash series and their respective Rogues. I will admit though that Iron Man 2 interestingly got me more into superhero films more broadly. Albeit even before seeing that I was a diehard Lego Batman fan.

Also yeah in terms of my optics/mirror creations, I tend to work mostly with plane mirrors and fresnel lenses at the moment (I can’t afford to buy more components because I’m kinda broke af right now in terms of having spending money, but if I can scrape together some more dough I’d like to get some concave lenses)
