How do married people celebrate the holidays?

Since I am most likely entering marriage next year (David's trach has to be removed before he can leave rehab center) and will most likely be celebrating next Christmas with him I want to know what to expect!! !

Thanks in advance!

Are you sure having children is a good idea? Not trying to be rude, but you seem to be quite dependent on other people in a way parents shouldn't be. Parents should be able to guide their children towards independence and adult success in life, and it seems like you haven't even really achieved those things for yourself.

Cathy is holding me back from achieving all of this stuff and until I can get rid of her, that won't change!! !

Maybe I should temporarily push having kids to the side until conditions improve?

Then again...by the time I actually get married I should be rid of Cathy because I would no longer be reliant on her services!

Yes. These days plenty of couples put off having kids due to finachial reasons.

I must have a well-paying job and take myself off of Social Security along with some other major considerations regarding becoming a mom...

Yes but it's okay

Maybe it is a sign that I shouldn't be a mom?
