What are yor hopes for 2026?

Mine are, don't have to put up with the noise from my selfish neighbours
Cut my drinking
Get my driving licence back
Hopefully my dad stays well

I want to publish a book.

I want to finally get rid of my reallly, really bad insomnia.

To keep my tree up all through January and when I take it down on Groundhog Day, I'll hope for a good Valentine's Day, St Patrick's, Easter, Mothers Day, Fathers Day, Canada Day and Thanksgiving. I hope to drop more weight because I've had it up to my eyeballs with knee pain and disposable underpants. I also hope to add more colours to my wardrobe in addition to the black, red, yellow and pea green. Perhaps a hoodie in a completely different colour like blue, purple or orange. That way, bullies will never come up to me and say, "So you like green." or "So you like Germany." I could always say to them, "So you like to pick on people with disabilities." If I have 3 or 4 options for outerwear instead of the 2 that I do now and I alternate days, that will keep people wondering who I am from a distance. I also hope to phone my parents every day to let them know how I'm doing.

I hope Trump continues to get more unpopular.

I'm definitely getting back into doing my weights

I would like to manage family relationships better. That might mean nicely winding some up or it might just mean taking a break.

And I would like to have more fun. I've been a bit dismal. I've made plans with old friends and I'll bestir myself and make new ones. I'm not going to let it go so long that I get sunk in my own head again.

Not have any major health setbacks.

Allow another person into my life, should there be someone who wants that.

Maybe I should reinvent myself

BB... You are a constant reinvention, ergo an inspiration.
There are a number of things I admire that I'd like kept in the next iteration, but I don't want to bias the outcome, so I'm not going to tell you which.

Let's call it evolution and I'll grow a set of gills

Learn to drive and quit my crummy job.

1. Improvements in love life
2. I keep my new charity shop (volunteer) job the whole year (and beyond) and gain a sense of purpose from it
3. No deaths in the family

Better health and new battery for my car. And perhaps current Pres, and his cronies decides to resign .

Survive another year of Trump.

I'm going to buy myself a new stick
