What Time Zone Do You Live In?

This is related to the question, who in the Wrong Planet will be meeting the new year first.
Only +0 through +12 are listed, because -1 through -11 do not stand a chance. Off the top of my head I can think of as least one person that lives in Poland (UTC +1), and I think someone is from Finland (UTC +2).
Here is a map of the world. You can click on it for a larger image, which depending on your screen size may or may not be adequate. I tried finding a time zone map of just the positive UTC zones, but I failed at finding a good search criteria.

If you do not know what time zone you are in, you can do a browser search on -
"current utc time zone <where you live>"
I've tried it using several, but not all search engines.
You do not need to leave any comments unless you want to gripe about how about how by the time the new year gets to you, it no long has that shiny new sheen to it.

Excellent question. Now when I attended training classes for work, "excellent question" meant "Oh. I know the answer to this." as opposed to "I'll have to check." That is my favorite trivia observation. I'm not sure if everyone had this happen or not. The people I travelled with did not notice

As for the question, which might be rhetorical? I don't know. I can make guesses, like it has something to do with China because China has chosen to have one time zone, even though it transverses 3 or 4 zones, maybe? Although Mongolia is not part of China. It could be related to its historical relationship to China? It could be economic?

I was curious when time zones, specifically UTC (Coordinated Universal Time), was implemented, and I looked it up on Wikipedia.
I found a better map. Calmer to look at. Wish I'd seen it earlier.

I may not finish my greetings. I thought it might be something positive, but from the posts I've read, new years is not always positive for everyone, so it seem disrespectful to them.
