when i was in school, i made the wrong assumption that students that did well academically would earn more $$$ in the future.

counterintuitive

wrong

some of the ASMs @ home depot would be hard pressed to put together two grammatically correct sentences. i would be surprised if their reading/writing/math skills were above grammar school level. their emotional resilience and social skills not that great either.

some precious lil "people" act really nice, but they have "ulterior motives" and "underlying issues" and just wanna manipulate you to do what they want you to do. they don't "care" about anyone except themselves.

the harder you try to sleep, the harder it is to fall asleep.

the more you obsess about calories the more you wanna gorge.

the days are long, but the years are short.

Having a schedule.
Which is utterly ironic for an autistic.

Nah.
I know where it came from; my body has no sense of day to day cycle despite that my brain craves it, it's just wont happen no matter how I desired it to be.
So instead of predictability and order, I got imposed pressure and rigidity that I start ignoring any alarms and reminders in favor of whatever it's feeling like doing. And no, I do not have ADHD or the true form of novelty seeking thingy; I'm still easily emotionally dysregulated by any other emotions including boredom.

This is more like my own hypersensitized interoception and how stupid loud my body is that I cannot ignore it well.

My body refuses to give my brain a sense of continuity. Any routines and schedules I successfully tried to do and implement will be disrupted hormonally within a week. Even past that, nothing goes past 100th day mark for me for the same reasons.

every since starting work @ home depot five years ago, hardly ever got sick, despite: germs, sleep deprivation, diet, stress. before that, got sick, like frequency intensity duration. (counterintuitive)

really really good precious lil "people" that end up showing that they were homophobic.

one of the former lumber associates, about 4'9, could lift eighty pound bags of concrete.

I'm prone to both hot flashes & cold chills. Some of it is probably related to hormone imbalances; the simple explanation is to just say I'm on meds for being slightly transgendered. I've always had a low tolerance to both heat & cold. I'm majorly out of shape & being physically active for a bit like walking home carrying groceries makes me hot & sweat even when the temp is below freezing & I was very cold when I first went outside.

When I'm more active I start to feel like I have more energy compared to when I'm more sedentary.

Sometimes trying too hard to do something makes it harder to succeed. For example, sleep

Yes have been through the Thermos bottle syndrome ,( my words for it). feels like blood viscosity did not self adjust.
Been outside in the snow. Trying to remove larger downed branches from the weather. Got numb from cold . Seemed
perseverating on getting the branch taken care, Went beyond what it should have . And was not recovering well .
It took quite a while in a very warm shower to ever get it close to inside temp . Doctor told me to sit in a hot water bath
later on ,when I went to see him .And later I tried adding coffee intake to improve circulation,i thought.
Used , hot water bottles on my chest and feet at night, eventually which helped quite abit, nowadays they also have microwaveable hotpacks available .For more modern thinking peeps.

On the other post regarding college .. Maybe not all the direct info was always useful. With exception of computer science info. Which did get me a good entry level job doing coding and operations back then .And in college it gave me a a better concept of Adulting , and interacting with professional people .
And getting an idea of where my weaknesses were in dealing with people . Which still to this day is a learning process
I feel . But must admit towards later in life found the degree , did not serve me well . But it did round me out business wise . imho.
