What's it like to be married

It's not something I've ever wanted to do and it's a good job really because I've never come close to it

But I do sometimes wonder if married people are more sorted in their lives

It's just a question I wanted to ask really

No different to not being married really, except you are probably more secure in the future should one of you pass away. Also the woman can change her surname. I did.

Otherwise, marriage is not an end to independence. You can still do everything you did before, except flirting around with other people or dating them, etc. But even that ain't law now, it's more down to moral obligation and what sort of a person you are.

It's a goal for some people isn't it

That's why I think some married people are more sorted because they're more goal orientated

I've always wanted to get married, so I feel that is a goal I have achieved.
I'm not very career-orientated. I prefer to have the duty of a full-time housewife. Unfortunately I have to work because men and women have to be equal.

Mind you my brother got married and neither him or his wife were sorted

The whole thing was an absolute sham from start to finish

I think they only did it for a laugh

Didn't exactly help my uncle either.

I've always wondered, if I ever got married, would I keep my last name? Probably not. I don't particularly like it. I'd keep it, if her name was worse.

I'm not sure if I'd go for a suit or a dress. I could rock both, easily.

Since David is gone I must start over with dating and working my way up to marriage!! !

Because of his health issues I should have known not to get married to him!

Did you and David marry? Are you getting divorce now?

No, but we were 3 months away from it until an unexpected event occurred!! !

I believe this was God redirecting me away from David to someone more healthy!
