In a statement, Stoere said he has reminded Trump multiple times that Norway's government has no sway over the independent Norwegian Nobel Committee, per the Guardian. The letter came after Stoere and Finnish President Alexander Stubb criticized Trump's plan to impose tariffs on European nations who won't back the US plan to take control of Greenland from Denmark. On that front, Trump further pressed his case:

"Denmark cannot protect that land from Russia or China, and why do they have a 'right of ownership' anyway?" asked Trump. "There are no written documents, it's only that a boat landed there hundreds of years ago, but we had boats landing there, also." He added that the world "is not secure unless we have Complete and Total Control of Greenland."

Staffers for the US National Security Council have forwarded the letter to European ambassadors, reports Nick Schifrin of PBS. As for the peace prize, Trump has made no secret of his wish to receive the peace prize—and he accepted a second-hand one last week from Venezuelan opposition leader Maria Corina Machado.

I'm usually proud to be an American, but Trump is making that much more difficult of late.
A plea to the powers in the American government and military... please, this is when we need a coup!

He fired all the heads of the military . to guarantee control . Eactly as Adolph H. Did in his rise to power in Germany.
Prolly with the same slogan, After Germany lost WW1 they were just starting to recover .And wanted a Fuhrer ....

He is using this BS in politics to hide ,his complicity with Eptein ...All he needs is a War to cover his path .
The very idea of conquering anothers country, we already had at least 2 treaties with. One has to wonder where his mind is really at ?

As an American its hard to watch what is happening. His response shows signs of clear mental instability at this point.

Speaking as an American: Trump's behavior is horrible and embarrassing.

I sure hope the people around him are seriously considering the 25th Amendment.

The legal version of a coup, here in the U.S.A., would be the 25th Amendment. There are now calls for same. The only question is whether the members of his Cabinet will act.

Unfortunately, we will then get Vance as President.

I would be too worried about being imprisoned for even suggesting one, given that ICE has been seizing people for far less, plus I'm worried that the military is more afraid of being court-martialed if they disobey Trump, than doing what's right.

I want the GOP dissolved and the natural-born citizen requirement removed from the Constitution so Zohran Mamdani can be president.

Can anyone tell me why Trump always uses so many words starting with uppercase in his posts? It's not even always nouns like would be the case if he were writing in German?

Also, being ignorant of the fact that the Nobel Committee is private and independent of any government?

Not qualified to be president, yet has an insatiable desire to be worshipped as a deity, it seems.
