Hi, I am Vivi. I was diagnosed with Level 1 autism/Asperger's in 2023 at the age of 30. When the psychologist asked me how I felt about my diagnosis, I responded, "Numb." Social interaction has always been my biggest challenge, and I realized that I didn't seem to follow the same social script as others. Growing up in the South has made this even more difficult.

And I was happy when I got my diagnosis. I had become increasingly suspicious over the decades that there was something different about me. It was a relief to finally get confirmation that it was not my imagination. And while it is an arena where no one answer is the one answer I'm inclined to think my mild Autism has improved me.
