What is your favorite and least favorite blue state. My favorite blue state is California and New Mexico. My least favorite would be somewhere like Illinois or New Jersey? How about about yall? In America blue states refer to democratic states.

I liked both California and New York equally.
Is Louisiana blue? It's too sticky down there.

I really like the state I live in (Massachusetts) and I could spend the rest of my life here if it weren't for the federal government and the evil stuff they're trying to do.

Honestly, I've never been to a blue state that I didn't like. It tends to be the rural red states that are basically third-world $hitholes.

My least favorite Blue states are probably Rhode Island and New Hampshire, assuming NH can be considered Blue. My favorites in the East Coast are Maryland, New Jersey, and New York. I don't know how I feel about Vermont as I haven't been there in so long.

The West Coast is entirely Blue in theory, but Washington and Oregon are bright flaming fire engine Red East of the Cascades. I was there in 2024 and liked what I saw. California is too big for me to have a clear opinion.

I would call NH purple. Their entire Congressional delegation is Democratic, but they have a GOP governor. I am not sure how far to the right Kelly Ayotte is, and while Chris Sununu did vote for Trump, he had a big independent streak.

Pennsylvania, it is where I live.

Not a Democrat voter, though.

My favorites are probably Connecticut, Massachusetts, Rhode Island, Vermont and Maine (if it can be considered so). I'm a New England girl for sure. lol.

I don't really have a least favorite persay, but I would never live in California, New Mexico or Hawaii. They're too warm and/or dry for me. I get that California is diverse in climates so don't @ me over this, I just don't see anywhere that has my ideal climate.

PA is not a blue state, it is a swing state. And are you telling me that you're part of the reason it went to the atrocious sex predator Trump twice? Please say it isn't so.

I would consider Maine to be Maine-ly blue. Janet Mills and all but one member of their Congressional delegation (Susan Collins) is either a Democrat or an indie who caucuses with them.

Likes the OP s choices , but inspite of Texas being what it is, kinda leaned towards that bastion of democratic reserve
in Austin . finding it real hard to vote Republican again now, due to current events .

NH has a lot of Republicans but they are hard core Libertarian rather than Evangelical, so a lot of statistics such as the per cent of residents who believe in God make it look Blue. Having, or having had, a Republican governor, doesn't mean much. Maryland is very Blue but has had 2 Republican governors in this century. You need to consider who they send to DC.

Nah, it's more complicated than how a state has voted in presidential elections. NH did win in avoiding ever falling for voting for Trump, but it's state politicians right now are very bad.

I am of the belief that libertarianism is nothing but a myth. They're just right wingers who want to claim they're something else. Libertarians have either tolerated or even come out and explicitly supported conservative Christian violations of freedom. They don't care about that. They only care about money. Don't touch their money, and all of the other freedoms can be taken away and they'll support the party doing that.

You say that they aren't Evangelical, but just take a look at this.. Sure seems to me like NH conservatives are the same stripe of Christofascists as the rest of the Republican party. I'm sick of people trying to make a distinction that essentially isn't there.

Ever since I moved to New England people have tried to tell me that Republicans up here are "different", but I'm not seeing it. They all support the fascist pedophile in office. They're just as depraved as the Republicans of the south I knew before.
