phone

hate talking on the phone

today had to phone the insurance.

horrified.

thank buddha. only had to be on hold thirty seconds. while conversation took only 14 minutes. she was nice. she fixed my problem for me.

i was afraid that i would'v been on hold for half an hour, and then she would've cross examined me, and wouldn't have the skill or authority to "help" me, or be rude.

thank buddha

Relatable. Talking on the phone is both hard to pay attention to and causes me a lot of anxiety.

Glad it went well for you.

Ditto
If video calls had enough resolution for me to read facial expression my way I'd do that, but voice only I find very difficult without some sort of structure. (Like a radio exchange has a preamble/ID and a trailer leaving time to rewrite what you want to say.)

annoying listening to tarantulas' phone conversations. especially when i think they are talking to me.

hard to talk to spiders on the phone. those idiots have the nerve to say "huh" and "what" like they are the etiquette equivalent of "excuse me".
