We used to have one when I was a child; I was fascinated with it and as a young child I liked to imagine that there were three little boys who lived in it, you know, such very tiny creatures like the Borrowers from Mary Norton's children's novels
(Back when I was five I didn't know the series by Mary Norton exists, I found out it does when I was about 15 maybe so it was my very own fantasy not one based on the books.) I always enjoyed looking at the bird coming out
We don't have the clock any more, no idea what's happened to it but I suspected mom gave it to my uncle - once when we went to his flat to feed his dog when uncle went to Warsaw to visit his daughter for Christmas, I noticed the clock hanging on the wall in his bedroom but no idea if it was that very clock that belonged to us back it the past - probably yes but I am not 100% sure.
