I know she has good intentions, but please, stop her from making so many useless threads. It's basically spam. :(

Doesn't seem to be a problem to me - telling people not to make threads/posts could lead to the opposite problem - a dead forum. Though I have to admit that it's bothered me a little how a user recently has started spamming the news forum with a huge amount of threads that push others off the first page quickly.

We had a similar case with such behavior before.
Does there seem to be intent? In that case, the
membership basically got on that poster's case
hard enough that it drew Alex's attention, and
a warning to stop spamming.

This bothers me as well. It wouldn't be a problem though if there was an option to 'View threads since last visit' in addition to 'View posts since last visit'. I hate having to wade through a whole bunch of threads that I wasn't interested in the first place just to find the new ones that I missed before they were pushed off the first page.

If I could somehow delete her threads from my computer so I can only see the other threads I'd be delighted. All my favorite threads are being bumped to the bottom, or to a second page.

Have y'all tried telling her to
slow down with the threads?

I have analysed the situation. Because she is posting on a variety of topics (and not, unlike a certain pair of former members, on a very specific subject or group of subjects), I do not consider her threads to be spamming. Only voice concerns about the content of her threads, not the quantity, here.

Fair enough. All her threads are utterly boring and narcisstic in nature. By allowing her to carry on making them, you are fuelling such behaviour. Asides if you look at her topics, and take away the snares, you will find they all bend back to one thing, i.e. her humble abode (or shall I say future abode).

I don't see any problem with her threads. The only posts that bother me are the pointless, stupid ones you make in them telling her to STFU. That's completely unnecessary, does nothing but create a negative environment, and serves no purpose whatsoever other than to lessen the view others have of you.

No one here reads every thread (if you did, you wouldn't have time for anything else in life.) So if her threads really are bothersome to you, just don't open them. As for your favorite threads, they should all pretty much be threads that you've posted in right? So why not just use the "View my posts" option to find them?

Just as much as your crude replies in the thread annoy other people, no doubt

Occasionally I might want to post in new threads perhaps. I dont want to have to wade through all her BS.

Since when would that require you to use a very offensive vulgar statement towards her?

*Looking over her posts, she typically only makes 9 threads a day, sometimes none, sometimes far fewer. The most I've seen is 12. While this a bit more than most people do, 9 is hardly a number so excessive that it keeps someone from viewing the other new threads in a forum, or even all the threads with new posts each day.

I was being direct and to the point. Sorry if my language burned out your delicate eyes, but I am not into skirting around things with lots of pleasent platidudes. Asides, she is hardly the innocent person she attempts to portray herself as, she did actually launch a spam attack against an entire website...

In the RD forum, Ana 54 has posted 10 out of 50 threads on the first page. rosered has posted 7 threads. Should I go on?
