I live near Jacksonville, and I hate every bit of it all. The weather is terrible. The same da*n terrible humidity year round.

Never said I was a fan of this state either. Way too humid. Hot I can deal with, but the humidity kills.

Agreed, it brings the heat index up way too high. 113 today where I live, at least that's what I heard.

Yeah, but the universal constant of Florida seems to be the cockroaches that are even bigger than the ones in South Carolina....You know, the ones that have antenna that feel like the "E" string on a guitar? :D

I don't see cockroaches very often; but when I do, they're not very big. I think the ones your thinking of are referred to as something else.

Yeah, I live in Florida. And there are quite a lot of cockroaches around here. They're, like, everywhere. Fortunately we have spiders around our house to keep their numbers down. :)

Wait a sec, spiders eat cockroaches too? Wow, my house has quite the food chain. Cats eat spiders, spiders eat cockroaches, cockroaches eat stuff no one else well. So, what are the chances of a Florida theme park get together?

Pretty good, if we can get enough people to agree on a time and a park. I'm equidistant from both Orlando and Tampa.

How about Universal?
I'm going to a Christian rock concert thing their in September. Not sure which day though.

http://themeparks.universalstudios.com/ ... euniverse/

It's Christian themed, so I don't know if you guys would like it or not. Other than that, I'd need a ride from friend or family to go to a theme park. And I don't know if I could do that.

Well, first of all we need to find some more Floridians here. I've PMed a some from the members list, but haven't had much responce. Perhaps we should both work towards the goal of a WP Florida Meetup. It's a great idea!
