Something I read in the Women's Discussion forum got me thinking. Where's the "Men's Discussion" forum? Isn't it only fair that if women get one, so do the men? O_o

There was a Men's Forum, but it was removed. Even though I've never gone in either, I believe Men's was removed because many of the threads were generally also applicable in the Adult Forum, which I have also not ventured into. Additionally, Women, due to today's society, are often segregated and expected to do certain things and blablabla which do not apply to men, and being Aspie further adds to it (for instance, "Why is it expected of me to wear a frickn' skirt?!").

Men are not allowed to express any thoughts except as approved by women, and the Men's Forum became the hunting ground for male bashing. Feminisum is not about being female, about sex, gender, it is about the power to destroy.

All of evil is in male related things, and until they are torn down, till men fear to speak without first asking permission, when they fear to gather, knowing that the harpies will come, their gathering will be screached into silence, and they and their friends hounded forever, will the Feminist prevail.

Personal attacks are not allowed, raceism, sexism, gender, issues, unless the person is male, then a fear and blindness sets in, there is a right to tell males that everything they think is wrong.

With thought and logic,
or screaming stunts,
all of life examined,
or screaching....

Which gender has been oppressed since the beginning on civilisation? Which gender is still treated as a second class race in many countries and by countless cultures, including many in the western world? Which gender is most often the subject of discrimination and sexual harassment? Which gender is most often raped and then punished for having been raped? Which gender must endure agonising quirks of biology just to sustain the human race? Which gender has had to fight every inch of the way just to be on equal legal footing with the other in some countries; and is still oppressed in many more?

You don’t know what it is to be female, or to experience the pain of having your ancestral pride irrevocably wounded.

Feminism, as I see it, is about the need for respect. Show some.

(Hee hee, irony. But, still.)

There were some very objectionable posts in the men's old forum.

Just makes it seem unequal. The men's forum shouldn't have been removed.

As society is unequal towards women, I say this evens the balance.

If it went in the mens forum, it can go in the adult forum. It isn't like the women's forum is segregated, barring guys from access, so in that sense it is merely putting a bunch of related threads into one area.

Reasons behind that? Well, I'd like to hear from any guy that really thinks that he has more to talk about, more things to deal with, as a guy, because he's male, than a woman would due to everything that comes with being female. I'm not saying it isn't possible, but I doubt it is the trend, and I sure as hell can't come up with all that many "male-specific" topics that can't just be put into the adult section.

If anyone is arguing for bringing it back only because there's a section for women, get over it. Life in general isn't fair, and if you feel like this of all things is worth making a big deal over, then things must be pretty decent for you in most everything else.

Asking for a men's section just because there isn't one, well, here's a picture of what you are envisioning:

I have nothing against a Woman's Forum, and I do not go there.

I did look at the old Men's Forum, once or twice, trash mouth.

It did lead to clashing cultures, but in the Men's Forum, respect is a two way street.

Fifty year old women in the boy's locker room? Correcting steamy young men? Sure.

I have never been to the Adult Forum, I did get a link to a preview site, what does nipple piercing have to do with AS? Not my version of adult. Try bondage.com.

I read in the Kids' Crater, but do not post, they get all the cool new toys, will be checking after Christmas.

I have been thinking, I cannot come up with a single Men's Issue. Anybody else? Do we have one?

Women and children, yes, they need space and respect.

So it was the right choice, drop the Men's, start the Adult, but Kids have to go by that strip mall of seamy images on the way to the Kids' Crater. I have heard the little ones tell people to watch their mouth, and that old people should go to their own playground. Flat told them It is not cute for you to post here.

They should be between Science and Mathematics, Computers, Art, Writing and Music. Better neighborhood.

I actually got the distinct impression that some people who posted in the men's only and adult's forum thought because they were men they did have more things to put up with than women. I wouldn't say that's true; possibly different things to put up with would be more accurate. But we also should be able to find some common ground as in real life we tend to get ostracised to some degree because of our condition.

A treehouse sounds like fun, but only boys without girls in there, where's the fun?
