I liked Bernard Manning. He died recently, and for anyone who didn't know him he was controversial he would joke about ANYTHING. Well a few months ago he staged his own wake on telly, knoing he was going to die, so he narrating while you saw clips of his funeral, crazy I know. Anyway one part which made me laugh, well he was very overweight, and when it showed these guys carrying his coffin, he said "those blokes must think I died of f**king lead poisoning!"

Bill Hicks, he died a couple of years ago. The "Relentless" performance is my favourite.

Yeah both those two are funny, I don't agree with anything Manning said, I do hope people can laugh about anything though.

I first came across some of his material on a stand up show, the king-sized bed joke and some others. A video popped up on here, and I put a name to the voice, now I have his second CD and watch his stuff on YouTube. He was like Butters from South Park as an adult. And a legend.

I love stand up comedy :D could talk about it for days
Some of my favourites -
Bill Bailey, Dylan Moran, Eddie Izzard, Ed Byrne, Mark Watson
All British or Irish, maybe I should expand my horizons.

Also love comic actors/writers -
Simon Pegg, Jessica Stevenson, Stephen Fry, David Mitchell... do they count as comedians?
