I doubt I'm the only one who has one of these games: they're excellent and a good way to refine coordination and precision.

So, I'll make this the (un)official discussion thread for Trauma Center!

I only just got the DS. I might consider getting this one day.

I LOVE Trauma Center... Almost to an obsessive degree, you might say.
They are basically greatness, especially the two for Wii. I just got the second one (NB) for Christmas, and I'm on Ch7.2.

I love it so far! XD

I've beaten it (but only on Easy).

It's a great game.

...Wait, I just learned something that may interest my brother: the Nunchuk is not required!

In short, he can play too!

And by the way, you should see 7.3 as well as Challenge 4: Nostalgia alert!

Dang, now I really want to get past 7.2...
*sigh* I don't think it's going to happen anytime soon, though, because I play the game on Hard and only sometimes switch to Normal, but that's only if I still cannot beat a level after several tries.

Stigma is really hard to treat when you have to treat 3 or four strains of it at the same time. Ug. It's so hard....

On a better note, I loved removing the apendixes on that one earlier level... It was fun.
Also, at the risk of sounding sadistic, I also like treating the bullet wounds. It sucks how much the blood tends to pool on New Blood though, Second Opinion was so much easier... Plus there were no burn victims before (those are so tough to treat! Making the skin grafts is annoying.).

I have beaten the entirety of Second Opinion on the hardest setting - I think I almost actually cracked my teeth at one point because the difficulty enraged me so.
It was on that level where you have to treat something like four patients in a row, and each one has a different form of GUILT, and I kept failing on the last patient who had the burrowing worm-like virus.

I eventually defeated it though. It was ludicrously difficult.

I love Second Opinion so much
I managed to complete it up until X4
Has anyone completed all the X missions?

O_o
X4? Really? That's amazing! Good job!

I wish I was that good, but alas, I'm not... I think I'm still stuck on X3.
It's the Triti operation... I hate triti.
The dang thorns always grow back too fast! It's very annoying to say the least. :(

I'm good at Kiraki(SP) though, I got an XS on the X level mission (for Dr. Stiles) for that strain. I was very proud.

Have you tried using the Healing Touch? If you play as Dr Stiles and use it just after opening up the patient, you might be able to remove all the stupid thorns on time.

Yeah.

Oh, you live in Edinburgh!? I live near there.

I should try that, I guess.
I'd feel guilty using it though. I got through the whole game only using it when I had to. Even on the first two X missions.
idk... I know I'm being stubborn, but I would feel like I was cheating, even though I'm really not.
*sigh*
I kind of suck at treating Triti in general so, even if I slowed it down, I probably still won't be able to beat it easily.
:(

A random side note: I love your name, chocolate_kitties, it makes me smile. :)

Triti was like, the hardest one for me I think.
I used to just use the Healing Touch and rip them all out as fast as possible before they could regrow, because I couldn't work out how you were actually supposed to treat it. The explanation in the game was a bit cryptic, I thought.
But anyway I gave myself conniptions trying to do that, and then finally worked out the technique, and that made it easier.

And that's the end of my story.

Aww, thanks.

This thread makes me want to play Trauma Center again. Too bad it's not in my flat at the moment :(

Yeah, to say the very least... The online guides too, to an extent.
You never really get an explanation for their removal in the game other than Angie repeating some really vague, confusing phrase over and over.

A. Bumped.

B. I've recently gotten through UTK really fast (2hr 58min 11sec). Anyone beat that time?
