I have noticed aspergian_mutant has been making a lot of posts lately about news items. I'm not opposed to this, but the very large number (you guys thought just nine polls asking members to rate themselves for only nine different personality styles was bad?) seems to obscure other new topics.

This is why I suggest a new forum under the General Discussion section for discussing news reports (i.e., articles linked from news sites) and opinion polls about recent news. Maybe we could call it Current Events. Of course, news items without links can also be included.

I forwarded this suggestion to the other mods. I think it's a good one.

actually, many people post news articles, just the ones I post seems to get little interest, by what I seen most people are interested in the want of destruction and politics posts, vary little interest it seems in the fields of nature and the sciences and medical breakthroughs passed anything related to aspergers (or them selves).

I'm interested more in the nature and science topics, but often I'm too lazy to read/comment on them.

Actually, I do enjoy skimming some of your news posts, but I often don't have strong enough an opinion to have much to say.

I agree, a news forum so our dear Aspergian Mutant can provide us entertainment with is articles would be a good idea, it's getting hard to find anything on the front page of the general forum not related to a news article anymore each day.

Hey, I been easing up on some of my news postings. yes the other night I posted like 5 of them, but on the average its been only 1 or 2 a day now instead of 5-7 a day. (depends on whats in the news I guess)
many things that catch my eye I have not been posting, like many of the medical sciences and astronomy breakthroughs and physics stuffs.
I kind of find it amusing that people could care less that we have many more planets in our solar system then just the 9 we first thought we had.
Or some of the medical breakthroughs like the alternate way thats been found to harvest stem cells thats not destructive to life and far less controversial then the previous ways they was doing it.
and much much more.

But, if my postings really do bother the many of you then I will simply stop and be done with it, if it bothers one or two peoples then (shrugs), more then that I stop.

I think having a forum for news articles is better than telling some people to shut-up. I also think that it will end up being another place that people will fight at regardless of whether I post there or not.
