i'm pretty sure he was diagnosed.
and even if he wasnt he probably has aspergers anyway...

I read his biography two months ago, and it said he was diagnosed with AS.

That explains why so many kids with Asperger's, ADD and ADHD love the game so much, to a degree. Wow.

Yes. Pokémon even stemmed from his hobby of collecting bugs. When he saw the Game Boy and a link cable, he imagined a bug crawling through the cable and because he wanted to find a way for future generations to enjoy his hobby, he found this to be the best solution and started work on Pokémon (although the full title of Pocket Monsters was and is still used in Japan).

Awesome. Pokemon was one of my favorite games as a kid and I'm getting it for Nintendo DS.
