Fritz V was the first case described by Hans Asperger. He had all sorts of problems as a child that Asperger describes in detail. He supposedly followed his patients through to adulthood and this child Fritz V becase a professor Astronomy and "solved an error in Newton's work he had noticed as a child." I've seen it on the web a few places but I think its in a journal published in German. Any ideas?

Okay, that's interesting... a "little professor" growing up becoming a big one! :D
I don't have any ideas about it though.

I think someone in here once posted a link to a file with Hans Asperger's paper on "die autistische Psychopathen im Kindesalter". I would like to read it when I get the time.
(Before I got diagnosed I also got the thought that I would like to read it, and thought, hey, maybe it's an aspie trait in itself...? )

I have read the English translation of Asperger's work. Its very good. You can find it in Autism and Asperger Syndrome edited by Frith et al. I would post the parts I have, but I am afraid to do so due to the rights to the work. It will be published in our book coming out soon "Asperger's Disorder."

It's funny, but two days ago I was at the local library and found a book with both Asperger's work and one of Leo Kanner, in a Danish translation (didn't even know there was one)! :D
So I'm going to borrow it one day. But thanks for the information.

Just now I'm reading a book by Tony Attwood (don't remember the original title), I got it for Christmas, it's a good book too.
