I don't get it, he has blond hair in that movie. I understand it's supposed to be the "first" one, but it doesn't explain why his hair is blond or even how his hair went from blond to black/brown in the other movies. Hair color doesn't change that fast. So why is his hair blond and how did it change from blond to black/brown? I don't get it.

I'm not 100% sure, but I don't think Casino Royale was meant to be in the same universe as the previous films so it really doesn't matter.

Besides, none of the Bonds really look like each other.

It makes me wonder if the name "James Bond" is just an alias, and if each Bond was really just a different MI6 agent with that alias. How else could he remain young over 4 decades? Or maybe he's really a Time Lord and he stays young by "regenerating" and getting a new look every time. Of course, it's not like the series has much bearing in reality anyway.

James Bond is really from Gallifrey and has used up 7 incarnations. He still has 6 left and they could even be alien or female physiongomy.

And notice how villains from both 007 and Doctor Who have lines like "So... we meet again, Mr. Bond/Doctor."

Another one I don't get is how in 007, Ernst Stavro Blofeld goes from bald with a scar, to bald without a scar, to grey-haired, to bald again... only his little white cat stays the same.

Blofield is a renegade timelord - and the cat is robotic, like K-9 except that it's called F3-9

Maybe it's like Nancy Drew. No matter how many mysteries she solves, she remains 16 years old.

This is an excellent point. In "From Russia With Love" Bond remembered taking part in The Battle of Britain. Therefore he has been a young adult badass over the course of 7 decades. Ian Fleming sucked at espionage fiction. The real Brit master of that genre was John Le Carre. Le Carre was a real Intelligence operative, and his George Smiley character was great.

Casino Royale is the first time there has been a muscular James Bond. That's how the fictional character would be if he were real.

Yeah I don't think it is any more complicated then that. Though Cyberman's theory is interesting. :D

In For Your Eyes Only Moore's Bond went to the grave of Lavenby's wife in Her Majesty's Secret Service (where he also killed Blofeld off for good).

So it's definitely not just an alias. There is a universe to the Bond films warping time in the same way that comics do. Like I said though, I don't think Casino Royale fits into that universe.

They realised that I was enjoying Bond too much, so they put a boring actor in the role.

Funnily enough; When My three faves were bond; Connery, Moore and Brosnan, Bond was all action and no muscles. Now he's all card playing (boredom) and all muscles.
