I hate bras too! I prefer sports bras, but even they don't offer enough comfort. I hate the way almost all bras bind, pinch, & scratch. but I can't go without them as I am too well endowed. If I had the money, I would have them reduced too! I think I hate my boobs as much as or more than I hate bras! At least companies are getting better with tagless undergarment. Tags scratch or itch! But why can't garment companies make something that looks nice as well as does a great job being supportive?

And forget pantyhose! I can't stand the way they fit....strangling at the waist, & making my toes feel all cramped. I am lucky that I can wear jeans to work!

A lot of women actually wear the wrong size bra - are you sure that's not part of the issue? Because that makes it really uncomfortable.
I'm a 32FF (UK sizes) and this isn't huge - it's just that most women wear a too small cup size.

You can still buy corsets - go for it if you want to wear one. I plan to buy one when I get the money as I like the 'pressure' feeling as well. :)

At the beginning of the thread someone said something about an expensive bra being £12 - I am so jealous! I've never found one in my size for less than £16, and I've bought bras for £25!

I don't have a problem with tights (I assume that's what pantyhose is...) but I don't have sensory problems. I wear them under my trousers a lot because I get very cold.

Ugh. I hate bras. I know I shouldn't go without at my size, but I often do. Especially in hot weather. I wish there were more bras in pure cotton, but it seems to be incredibly hard to find such, and when you do, they're things you wouldn't wish on your granny.

I'm a 40DD, and that doesn't help because while it is getting easier to get bigger cup sizes in the UK, back sizes are a different thing. The vast majority of bras on the market don't go over a 36 or 38, and I hate cramming myself into something that's going to pinch across the back.

I'd happily wear corsets if they weren't so darned expensive. Some underwear stores have told me it's impossible to make any boned garment 'supportive enough' for the larger woman, but every corset maker I've met (and I've met a few, my husband was into LRP and still turns out to shoot photos at medieval fayres) tells me that's a heap of hooey - after all, time was when women of all sizes wore them. Given the choice between some hideous beige elasticated monstrosity that promises to shave 3" off my waist in return for stopping me breathing....and a nice bespoke corset....I think I'll save up, thanks.
