Apart from not knowing how to ask for a job or what to say. All my mum said was go into a store and ask to speak to the manager to ask for any job vacancies.
But if I can't find the manager or hes not in, I'm stuck what to do.
Also I'd be useless at interviews and useless at the questions they would ask me.

I've also had discrimination against me cos of my disabilities.

And now I'm not well since for the last few months I been having seizures out of the blue.   Which I never ever had before. So need to get that sorted at the hospital first.
And also had labyrinthitus for over 2 years on and off, which is a inner ear infection which affects my balance and sight. So when I have it randomly, I get extremelly dizzy, walk like a drunk, nausea, feel like I'm tripping or in a trance and get very mentally confused.
So until those two things are sorted or at least controlled, I won't be able to try and get any job.

I hope the hospital can help resolve or minimize the problems you're having. It wouldn't be safe for you to try to work in most places as long as you are having seizures or losing your balance like that. Good luck on your recovery.

If the manager isn't in, you can ask for a job application form to fill out, either there or at home. As for interview questions, there are books on how to interview that have sample questions. Your mother could do practice interviews with you using the book as a guide. There are also interview ideas on previous WrongPlanet threads.

My advice, get a network of friends in your area (or elsewhere if they don't mind a long distance call) and have them as fake former bosses at fake jobs you used to have. Especially useful if it's related to the job but not exactly the same as the job you are applying for.
