You know when you find a smell which shouldn't be nice but you can't stop sniffing it?
I discovered that when my dog is asleep the pads of his paws have the most wonderful scent. I try not to indulge very often as it understandably freaks him out but if he happens to be on the bed it kind of wafts over. This is the only pleasant smell he creates, the less said about the others the better!

I have always been crazy about scented plants. I cannot even describe the amount of satisfaction I get from sniffing some of these flowers, it's weirdly sexual in a way! If you have never been there I recommend everyone hunts for-

On a sunny day
Lonicera periclymenum 'Heaven Scent' (Old school Ambre Solaire type scent)
Heliotropium peruvianum (Parma violets/cherry pie/fruity scent)
Rosa 'Jacques Cartier' (More depth than your standard rose fragrance, very intoxicating)
Trachelospermum jasminoides (Like a more subtle fresher shade of jasmine)
Gardenia jasminoides (One of the most intoxicating jasmine flavors I have experienced)
Good ole' Jasminum officinale (although Jasminum sambac is more heavily scented it will not grow well here in the UK)
Reseda odorata
Philadelphus coronarius

On a warm evening
Mattiola bicornis (Devine sweet playdough type smell)
Zaluzianskya capensis (Similar to the mattiola but slightly more sugary candy smelling)
Nicotiana alata (Jasminy scented tobacco flowers)

If anyone can add to this list I would be most grateful. Scented flowers are definitely the reason I started gardening in the first place.

Roses extracted into oil.

light incense.

Me..I don't know why but I like the smell of me after a shower.

early morning smells of dew on a cool breeze.

Garlic that's been cooked.

Oranges that have just been peeled.

I've always liked the smell of gasoline.

^I forgot to add that one in my list. I like the smell of gasoline too and cigarettes as long as they're outside.

Don't laugh. I like my own smell for about 2 days after I eat Indian food. It's a certain chemical smell after Garam Masala/curry has been processed by my body. It scents everything. I know, weird.
I also really like sandalwood, really, any wood smell. Burning wood, wet wood, freshly cut wood, any wood at all.
Not flower smells, those are too much. Plant smells, I like. Except for the smell of melons. Melons smell weird to me.

I too love the smell of gasoline. I also love the smell of benzene and terpenes

I also like the smell of me when I am hot before that nasty sweaty smell kicks in.

That would explain it! Should I be attracted to my own pheremones? That's like olfactory narcissism surely!

Just remembered another one- When it first begins to rain on hot asphalt or tarmac Mmmmm

As bad as this sounds, I love the smell of marijuana.

EDIT: How could I forget? I also love the smell of burnt gunpowder. :)

Haha! Another one I forgot about, possibly after too much of said herb. I love the amazing variety of smells you get from different cultivars

If a girl happens to be wearing Paco Rabanne Black XS Pour Elle I get very impure thoughts, it is incredibly powerful distracting stuff that does weird things to boy's brains. Probably not one for the office ladies...

Ah the smell of weed activates my brain into a craving disaster...

Patchouli does that too.

Patchouli and Ylang Ylang both have powerful effects on the brain.

I always giggle at the mention of Patchouli as it reminds me of the film High Fidelity. "Patchouli smelling mother******!"
