With the whole driving everywhere I'm getting lazy.

I saw a really mean pink pushbike the other day. I'm thinking I might get it... I mean, but i'm trying to think where I would use it.

Anyone here use bikes a lot?

all the time, i find it is a really good way to burn off exess anxiety
in the summer time i bike to work, its a 17,5 Km ride morning and evening, it is just great

and biking is also a great way to meet people, and there is not an overwhelming amount of social interaction, since the main reason to meet is the biking, you can find biking groups at most sports stores

I bike to work and back home everyday and have at least one hour biking in the evening if the weather is ok (cold is ok, but no rain plz)
It's a lot of fun if you have the right bike.

I used to ride 25km a day or more when I was younger. Rain hail or shine. One thing though, make sure you get a bike suited to the task you want to use it for. When I switched from my old trusty mountain bike with it's horrendously huge knobbled tires to a new slick tired road bike a while back, the difference I noticed while riding on paved roads was huge!

I have a bike but only coz I'm not old or rich enough to own a car
