Rush is my all-time favorite band.

There's already been a thread on this, but yes...like's 'em.

I'm not really into their latest album, but they are still an all-time favorite.

No negatory votes possible? Bah.

They are a truly brilliant band. "Hold Your Fire" is my favorite album, though I do like "2112" and a variety of other songs. I first heard them as a little girl... my older brothers liked 'em too. I'm not a mega-fan, but I do watch videos of theirs on occasion. Youtube has a nice one of them performing "2112" not too many years back, and I really enjoyed it. Can't help chuckling at Neal's drums, though. They've gotten so big that you can't see him anymore.

I love 'em.
But I've only heard their older stuff because my dad isn't into the new stuff and he's the one who got me into Rush.
Anything Progressive in nature is great.

Not exactly my favorite band, but they are enjoyable. However, Neil Peart is indisputably the greatest drummer ever.

they're pretty good. "Subdivisions", "The Spirit of Radio" and "A Passage to Bangkok" are especially good.

I enjoy listening to them pretty often, though some songs, Geddy's voice just drives me nuts, though Neil Pert's drumming always makes up for it. Sometimes I think of Rush as the 'Neil Pert Experience', though Alex and Geddy are both good musicians themselves

I really like rush. Even their new album. Although 2112 is my favorite album. Not, however, because of the song 2112. My favorite song by them is Twilight Zone

I used to see them live whenever they placed the Hammersmith Odean in the late 70s. early 80s.
They had a pretty good light show back them and the percussian was allways quite extensive.

My only critism is that they are a bit clinical as in technically good, but lacking soul, maybe because they where a manufactured by the music industry band rather than a genuine bunch of guys who got together to make thier own music like say Black Sabboth.

I always thought that Geddy Lee sounded like Pinky from Pinky and the Brain.

Rush is brilliant. All 3 of their members are great at what they do. Neil Peart is a godly drummer, Geddy Lee is a godly bassist, and Alex Lifeson is a damn good guitarist.

While they're not among my inner circle of favorites, I still like them.
I'm studying Neil Peart' s drumming for when I eventually get a drum set/begin playing for a band a few friends and I are starting up.

Really didn't care for 'em at first, but the dearth of tolerably decent music on teh radio has really helped learn to appreciate how good they are (no, wait, that sounds a bit backhanded, but I really do enjoy them. Why, I'm listening to Subdivisions right now)
