I kind of pride myself on being a good gamer, but I have recently come across a problem. I have been playing Gears of War 2 on Hardcore and on the second level where you are on top of a vehicle and you are supposed to protect the vehicle from morters and reavers, I keep losing at the first reaver. Now I can realy take down the morters without too much of a problem, but this damn first reaver feels like it is impossile, as it just tackles the vehicle a few times and you lose. I have beaten it on this difficulty on coop, and by myself on an easier difficulty, but by myself on this difficulty, the turet overheats, and can not land enough damage, shooting the pasengers does not stop it, and pulling a bunch of perfect streams of reloads from lancer has even not worked. Could I please have some help if anyone has managed to do it by themselves on this difficulty.

I havent done it, but as i completed original gears on insane, my adivce would be to get on the turret, keep shooting until it overheats, get off and shoot with the lancer until thats an empty clip. Get back on the turret, over heat, lancer, active reload. Rinse and repeat.
