Doesn't everyone? I constantly daydream, sometimes to the point of losing my senses to the dream.
I don't think "normal" people do. It's one of the reasons I started seeing a psychiatrist back before I got my diagnosis.
The psychiatrist just told me I was depressed... daydreams result of avoiding life... blah blah... have some Paxil... blah blah....
Wow, I daydream ALL the time. I don't think it's to avoid life. It's just part of my life and part of who I am. No one ever seemed to have a problem with it when I was a kid (or now), but I was a kid back in the days before everyone became obsessed with DOING and ACHIEVING 24/7. Nowadays, there is no room for daydreaming or reflection. Kids get daily homework from kindergarten on, and people are expected to bring their work home with them. It's not healthy at all. People need time to sit and be alone with their thoughts, and daydream.
