Now that I've started playing it, I'll answer your question.
It's really dark and surreal, definitely not for kids. It's also a little confusing at the beginning. I agree with the reviews that say it's more like interactive artwork than a game because it's pretty much just wandering around the woods and there's not any challenges that I've seen so far. But it's definitely worth $10 and a few hours because it's really pretty and it's strangely interesting.
