Much rejoicing!! !

:P :joker: :compress: :D  :joker: :king: :jocolor: :geek: :thumleft: :viking:

It must be residual energy from the full moon. It's been a long time coming, and frankly - my husband has been a total p**** at this job.

The other thing is - for the first time in my entire life - I want to sue someone. Looong story - but a) they are mid-20th century a**hole sexists, and b) they literally stole and then bastardized a shit-load of my intellectual property. My stomach aches and I really start to panic when I think about it but if I had to put a dollar amount, I'd say easily over $200K. (Gotta understand IP to know what that means - its not like real money or stuff you can touch.)

They are a bunch of small-potato, unprofessional morons out of Seattle. Does anyone know anything about sueing for stealing IP and sex discrimation? The sex discrimination accusation come from some comments made about me, made about women customers in general, and another good friend of mine who was just fired - but who was TOTALLY, BLATENTLY discrimated against. (And I don't mean sexual harrassment - this is totally different.)

Only 20 minutes until noon. :drunken:

anything to reduce headcount. It's a social Darwinistic world out there. I didn't get fired myself, but if I didn't take a major pay cut, I would have. They even want us to take a week without pay.

You might start looking at Linked in, which is a social contacts page, that might help him out some.

As for IP (been in computers too long...it means something else there), the last 2 jobs I had frankly said I didn't get the job if I didn't sign over any IP rights. That's why you don't see Bratz dolls any more; the guy who made them up did it while working for Mattel, and they shot down the whole thing.
