I forgot about left-libertarianism. If a good portion of those who regularly self describe as libertarian in WP polls are left libertarians then the WP community is very skewed towards the left, both in economic and social issues, LOL. It isn't. There's like 3. The majority of News and PPR'ers, pro... |

Satoshi Kanazawa, an evolutionary psychologist, gives an evolutionary explanation to the higher IQ of liberals that is found in most studies: he says that liberalism didn't exist in traditional societies and is thus an evolutionarily novel trend; hence it must be related to higher intelligence, sin... |

Do humans have an innate need to worship something? No, but we do have an innate need to belong to something larger than ourselves. What we label hero worship is usually an individual who projects an unreasonable ideological absolute onto someone they admire. The target of projection is usually som... |

I agree with Kraichgauer, Napoleon was an authoritarian leader who was responsible for the death of many millions of Europeans. He brought French ideas, which he considered of universal value, to every country he conquered, and he is admired by some for this. I think he is similar to many Roman empe... |
