Reading through this long and tedious list makes me want to say "screw it" and just never talk to anyone again.

How autistics communicate: [Compose and proofread every sentence in their head before speaking with literal and precise phrasing] How neurotypicals communicate: [Blurt out some words without thinking too hard, and expect the listener(s) to guess what they mean via context and subtle subconscious bod...

Welcome to Wrong Planet! :D Regardless if you are an Animorphs fan or not, what is your opinion of a possible Animorphs movie or a TV show if it hasn't happened already? Thank you! =D Animorphs was a big part of my childhood and I still think about the characters and aliens on a regular basis! Howe...

[Continued from post #1] My life wasn't all bad though -- sometimes Mom would take me out of town for a week or so and stay in a hotel just to get away from Dad for a while. She was just as abused by him as I was, but she had no idea I was getting it as well: her logic was, "He may be mean to m...

Hello and welcome. By any chance, do you consider yourself otherkin? No, but I do consider myself a furry! I find animals and fantasy creatures more aesthetically and artistically appealing than humans. From what I've heard, Otherkin believe they actually have an animal soul or something like that....

Last night I found this website through an article here on WP: https://ndpathways.org/wrp-online-win21/ I'm quite interested in trying this program, though the first class for the current ... semester? starts today and I'm a bit late to apply. Even though I probably won't have to wait long for the n...

When I had an injury, I put an extension stick on the slider for my volume control, so instead of a stretch, it became the handiest thing on my desk. A decade later, I still love the instant response it allows.

Hey, that's a great idea! =D

It's not even a fear of someone/something specific -- just discomfort of anticipating negative feedback. Lots of things make me feel that way, like if so...

I originally wrote this as my biography on the forums, but as it got longer and longer I decided to make it a post! ================================ My name is Flick. I grew up on Earth, with humans, but I'm almost certain I'm not from here. I appear human to others, but when I look in the mirror, I...

There's something that's been frustrating me for years, but I recently learned it may be a symptom of Autism! The problem is, my skill set has sharp cutoffs -- I may be a whiz at one thing, but something else people see as very similar I just can't do. For example, I am quite proficient at procedura...
