Depends on what kind of noise you're talking about... I need white noise at night when I try to sleep or else any little tiny sound keep me from falling asleep. When I'm up in front of the computer, either at home or at work I put music on to help me drown out what's happening around me so I can kee...

ACA is not going anywhere soon despite trumps promise to repeal it on the first day. Dumping 20 million people off insurance rolls at the snap of a finger without any replacement will crash the ENTIRE healthcare industry and then the you'll probably have a mass uprising in the streets. I think hones...

My brain has a highly capable processor, plenty of RAM and hard drive space. But I'm still running MS-DOS 6.22 and Windows 3.1... and I have to figure out myself how to write all the apps with out any SDK!

While trump getting in was certainly a shocker, He most certainly doesn't have any kind of mandate to implement his agenda. Hilary won the popular vote and the democrats gained two seats in the all important senate. The house GOP will bring forth some pretty awful things, but they will all get stuck...

Back in 1994 when I was in eight grade, a girl by the name of Sarah T. had some kind of a crush on me. What was odd about it was that she was one of the "bad girls" who smoked and drank, skipped class, got detention, etc, so you'd expect her to take interest exclusively in the "bad bo...

The newer high velocity ones I dislike a lot and I only use them if there is no other option. The fans they have and the sounds of the air rushing out of them and interacting with your hands is unpleasant to my ears and borderline intolerable. Now the older ones that didn't output air at supersonic ...

Mom and dad were good at getting to pose for pictures, so there were not to many candid moments they captured, the ones they did get tended to show me with a gaping jaw and a blank look on my face. My grandma got a photo of me with toys lined up on a table. Another thing I noticed is that the overwh...

September 1, 1994 - Suddenly became aware of my dads own eating sounds. Made me cringe like nothing ever had before. Dad told me sternly to knock it off.

... Before awareness

It depends on how long of a wait list you have for services in your area. For me it took about a month, but that was because the Dr. who DX'ed me had seen me in the past and already had everything he needed to proceed. My cousins son got his DX over the summer, but he didn't have to deal with a long...

ditto on that... but having looked at photos of Jesse that are online and the way he posed for them I would not be surprised if it comes out at some point that hes on the spectrum :( His facial expressions just screams spectrum to me.

Seeing as how I spent 7 years working a grocery store I was never bothered by the detergent isle. What was bothersome to me was the smell of the garbage compacter. Also balsamic vinaigrette burned my nose when someone broke a bottle on the floor and I had to clean it up.

First it was on my bike, then it was the car. I'd get the urge to go out and I'd head out the door and I wouldn't return for the rest of the day. I never worried about getting lost cause I had the local road network memorized. My longest trips on bike tended to be about 10 miles, in the car... about...
