Just a clarification (for everyone, apparently). There is a huge difference between an executive order and an executive action. An executive order carries a legal weight, whereas executive action is the government equivalent to the CEO sending out an email memo. This was immigration executive action...

http://www.thesmokinggun.com/documents/unmasking-Ferguson-witness-40-496236 The only witness to fully corroborate Wilson's testimony. McElroy waited four weeks after the shooting to contact cops. On October 22, McElroy went to the FBI field office in St. Louis and was interviewed by an agent and tw...

OK, a little clarification on this "amnesty" It only applies to those who (among other things): 1. apply and pay a fee 2. pass a background check 3. fall into one of two categories: parents of legal residents who have been here for at least 5 years, or limitations identical to DACA on those brought ...

Obviously Birchers, the KKK and bible-thumping reactionaries aren't libertarian in the slightest. The sad thing is that almost every public figure who claims to be libertarian either has never bothered to look up the term libertarian or has just co-opted the name to try snagging a few extra votes.

And you don't see how this mentality is a major part of the problem?

We, as a country, all need to grow up and register the fact that commenting on the degradation of black culture is in no way racist. What is racist is the way you describe your opinion, in which you paint all poor black inner cities as having no citizens that are not violent, drug addicted gangster...

I think a young Republican Teddy Roosevelt would be better in our current state. Although he would likely be labelled a raging commie socialist in today's political climate.

If every voter had to answer one of three randomly selected questions from the citizen test before being allowed to vote, Obama would not have had a chance in 2012, even with all of the Democrats' shady voting shenanigans. Perhaps you have missed some of the reports where self identified consistent...

To be fair, the wording of the thread title does tread the trolling line, IMO.

I think it would be a smarter move to improve the access to education for those poor people. IMO, this is the biggest problem. Inner city schools receive poor funding (comparatively), which leads to poorer performance and graduation rates, which leads to more poverty. If you want to tell these peop...

Your life is endangered for being white - is the scare you should have. I was told this by a black coworker when I lived in DC, when he told me , "I know some inexpensive areas, however ....". I was told this by black people in Detroit. I experienced this by black kids in New Jersey who were intimi...

The disease is the culture. An absolutely casual attitude towards sex. Examples abound of callous disregard towards life programmed into people from a young age in gangs. Hard drugs are abundant and celebrated. It's pointless to have a debate about ethics and which culture is better, but clearly th...

Explain to me how not being immediately familiar with the authors of fiction that morons erroneously tie to my beliefs make me "intellectually bankrupt"? I only even use the label 'libertarian' because it's easier than explaining the myriad of positions that I hold, even if it's an imperfect fit, a...

The names they REALLY need to know are Locke and Burke...

THEN, we'd have actual libertarians instead of selfish, amoral as*holes.

I'd drink to that.

Everyone's rates have gone up and many people have a hard time even receiving the care that the ACA offers. Everyone is probably not the right word. My premiums for 2015 are down almost 2%. They were down a few dollars a month in 2014. I now have a lower deductible, and I have gained coverage for 2...
