To the OP: You sure assume a lot for not being in peoples' heads. Might want to examine that.

Er. Getting high helps you figure stuff out? If this is an example, you might not want to do that anymore.

Having or not having a label really doesn't make the difference; the label just quantifies what's going on. Like LostInSpace said, it's how you interact with people that makes the difference. I don't think any label will 'turn someone cool', and I really have no desire to be 'cool' anyway. I want to...

My cats couldn't care less what I'm doing, except that when I go to bed it apparently signals to them that it's time to run through the house, knock things over, and rip each other to shreds.

"It is impossible not to answer anything biased in this context as you know why you are answering questions, to see the likelhood of being an aspie, and you know what kind of traits an aspie has..." Not entirely true. Sure, if you'd done research beforehand on Asperger's and THEN took the test, you'...

Stop expecting me to conform to their petty, senseless social rules, and 'punishing' me if I don't. Well, ok. That mostly applies to my mother, I guess, but she's really the only 'NT' I can identify that I have a problem with. :) So since that doesn't apply, I'll change mine to: Say what you mean an...

I don't know if it's pressure, though I wouldn't be surprised if that contributes to some of my aches and pains, but I do know the weather has an ENORMOUS effect on my mood. Which is kind of a pain, seeing as the weather is uncontrollable and particularly prone to changing hour to hour this near Lak...

Right now I'm eating a bowl of sweet corn (it was the only thing we had that sounded even remotely tasty) before going to bed. As I sleep, I'll be listening for the phone, as I expect at least two phone calls today, one about a house we're negotiating price on, one from the folks at the place I pick...

Mutt. Oh, you wanted more specific than that? Ok: Scottish, English, and Irish, though my mom's side tried to hide that (simply not DONE, you know, to admit you're Irish in snobby upwardly-mobile society) and Russian, German, and Polish on my dad's side (from that spot in I think Belarus where the b...

Hah. I can't even get treatment for my issues, but they'll pour billions of dollars into a program like this? Use that money more wisely; make the needed prescription drugs less costly instead of filling drugmakers' pockets. *disgust* ETA: Or better yet, make insurance more affordable on all fronts:...

This is just off the top of my head, but with regards to the questions, it sounds like he's trying to get you to listen to his opinions and isn't quite sure how to go about it. When my son asks me questions I don't know the answer to, or if his questions are excessive, I'll turn to him and say, "I d...

I'm married 3 years in June to a wonderful man who's more than likely at least slightly Aspie, though he's taught himself to cope. Either that or he just has a lot of Aspie traits. :) He's wonderful, though, with me and my son (from a previous marriage), and we've gotten to the point where we can li...
