Rossc, I would stand to reason that a person strongly opposed to the creation of a GLBT forum, would have a motivation for doing so. One of the most common reasons for a person to oppress a person who is GLTB is trying to control in others something that they may find in themselves. To be blunt, I ... |

Since I am new to Aspie world, I'm wondering about the hostility towards Autism Speaks. Can someone illuminate me? Not "THEY SUCK", but some concrete reasons for the contempt? Radicalised fear-mongers pretending to support and respect Autistic people http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=HDdcDlQVYtM http:... |

I kind of see where Rossc is coming from, I mean its going to have about 3 people posting in it.. Then you'll get a million other people demanding a sub forum for their monority until you're scrolling a couple of km down the page. Just my opinion don't mean to offend:/ I also think the womens forum... |

Afraid of? Not a lot. Magpies is a pretty big fear. I've been swooped more by butcher birds than magpies. Or did you annoy some football players from Collingwood? Nah. I am absolutely phobic of the bird variety. Badly swooped as a 2 or 3 year old. Now I am a tough fearless bloke and father. U... |

This is just a little forum you post anonymously on amoung strangers you will never see. You do NOT know that, people on here DO know other people here on WP in real life and there are lots of people who are NOT anonymous. Put in context do you think it could be construed as whining or do you think... |

[This is gender-specific true story, but.... there was a photographer who worked with people from the IFGE . She took a picture of a very prominent gender-outreach person--in the act of crying. At first, the person in the picture did not want it shown, but the photographer's explained her view that... |

On Wrongplanet, there are 24 forums including those for such things as computer, math, video games, and such, so it would seem that there was no evidence of fear of fragmentation the community in that regard, and so, it would seem that the fragmentation issue, would be a poor excuse for not allowin... |

At least there seem to be some dialogue here. While, I am not surprised to see one or two people who are against the idea, I am surprised they keep using the same hyperbole attack technique more than once. While a "Vegetarian" forum be interesting, I have never personally known a vegetarian who kil... |

They have from time to time. Even 13 year old kids. They may again. But that is OK they are sponsoring us now so we all have a warm glow about this organisation now. We trust them fully. |
