UPDATE: The lawyers arrived at the conclusion that the RO broke the law and that I was discriminated against. Both I and the RO have now signed a contract which includes the following: 1. RO apologizes for the discrimination 2. RO pays me a compensation of 1000 euros 3. I promise to not publicize th...

I've been to several art museums with my SD. Nobody has ever given me a hard time over him. I would recommend making sure you bring a short leash (no longer than 4ft (100cm ish)) to ensure that your SD stays very close to you and doesnt touch any art (if it's a "modern" art museum with scu...

Hi, I know I've been inactive for a while, but I thought I'd share this. As some of you may know I am graduating high school this year and it's tradition in my high school for the teachers and graduting classes to have dinner and go to a bar afterwards. I have Latte, my service dog with me most of ...

I am looking for support as this was my first time being actually discriminated against because of my autism. I'm sorry that happened to you. But are you sure that to sue him is worth the required time of your life, the risk of the costs and to have to deal with people like lawyers who mostly want ...

Awesome job for fighting this legally! That must’ve been really stressful, but it makes it that much easier for the next person who brings in a service dog. I haven’t experienced too much discrimination yet because of my dog, but I know it’s going to happen at some point... Yes. Luckily because of ...

Next time, pull out your phone to video and file an ADA complaint. Scary stuff I asked to record them saying that I wasnt allowed with Latte, but they denied and I didnt want to do anything wrong so I didnt record. I do, however, have several witnesses to the situation. Name, address of restaurant,...

Luckily, the lawyer I contacted works for the Finnish government (I live in Finland, and I dont want to share the exac...
