Are there any jobs I would be a good fit?? I currently work as a pharmacy clerk but the job comes with daily stress and anxiety. I can't multitask well (which I have to do constantly), and every time a customer deviates from the standard questions I make it awkward. I've also been told that I do thi...

Hello everyone! I would love your guys' thoughts on this matter! I haven't had much luck at all in the dating field, until recently I came across a local guy around my age who has Aspergers too, and he seems interested in me. However, it's rather difficult to have a convo with him because his mind g...

Bearded dragons are not that hard to take care of once you have the setup. My friend's one just passed away from old age. They are actually a very good first pet because they are pretty simple to care for. But do the research and write a checklist of all the things you need to do for her and how of...

Well I imagine you'd also have to clean the cage from time to time, make sure you always have a supply of insects for it and of course make sure to close the cage when you're done feeding. So it may be a little more complicated than you think. Why exactly is it they don't think you could handle it?...

My Co-worker texted me today, asking if I wanted to have her bearded dragon as well as the cage and everything else for only 80 dollars, since she has too many pets and needs to get rid of some. I really want to have her and I'm willing to even spend my own money, but my parents won't allow it becau...

I'm rather curious about this, because I've always had a special bond with animals. My dogs and cats feel closer to me than anyone else in my family, and I feel like I can relate to animals a lot. A few times I've even been able to approach stray animals before while they ran away from other people....

I wish I saw this earlier... I've been in your shoes before not even a year ago but I know that things get better. I have a job now with friends there and I'm meeting a potential date in a few days who seems interested in me. Life is full of ups and downs... I promise whatever you're going through i...

Most of my sensory sensitivity is light. I often have to squint my eyes or rub my eyes. Loud noises make me uncomfortable too, especially unexpected ones.

I just got an account on PoF and OKCupid instead. I've had a little bit of success there despite having Aspergers and have met a few people. :)

I usually do OK about where I know I'm at, unless if I happen to be in a larger, more crowded city since I'm used to driving on country roads. All of the cars, lights, and roads are super confusing to me and lots of locations look almost the same when there's so many buildings.

1. It depends on the night usually.
2. Yep. :P
3. Yes, on more than one occasion.
4. I guess sometimes.
5. Yep, a few required classes I had were a nightmare because of that.

Hey guys. Recently I acquired a new obsession about something that probably won't happen unfortunately, and that's getting a reptile as a pet... but despite knowing this, I still can't keep myself from looking up the best reptile pets and reptile care. My parents are getting annoyed with me bringing...

Where do you live? A lot of Wrong Planet members have arranged meet ups through WP Hey Alex, I live near Portland, OR. I wasn't aware there was WP real life meet up groups, but that does sound amazing. :) Portland is a bit far for me though because I live in a rural area, but if that's the nearest ...

Hey guys! As you know many people with Aspergers often have trouble making friends, and that includes me and probably many of you. I was wondering if there was a site to find groups where young adults with Aspergers meet up in real life just to make friends and do fun activities together. I tried go...

I was unmotivated in high school, because a lot of the subjects were very boring and didn't interest me. My main drive to finish a class with a passing grade was so that I never would have to go through that class again.

I do feel empathy, and I can recognize other's emotions or if something is bothering them fairly easily. I also can keep eye contact, but I trained myself to do that.
