He can count to 10 already and is very sociable. He responds to me all the time, well, apart from when he's being cheeky. He responds to different tones of voice and looks me in the eye (which is sometimes unnerving!!) so there is literally nothing I can see to suggest even Asperger's. Both his pare... |

I have a very "new age" "earth mother" type friend, who is vegan and homeschools and all that kind of stuff. Really against pharmaceuticals etc. But she has ultrasound scans. |

I'm 25 in four hours and I have a son who is 18 months on the 4th. I have AS and he doesn't appear to have anything going on. Well, apart from having cancer, but that's a whole different issue which is nearly dealt with. I don't really know what to look out for at this age, I'm pretty sure he doesn'... |

No-one believes me either. Then after a while, I say something, and they either get offended and stop being friends with me, or realise that I was telling the truth |

You've hit the nail on the head. I've been trying to put that last sentence in words for ages! All I could get to was "it doesn't matter if it's the first time a child has been annoyingly loud in public, to everyone else it's yet another child being annoyingly loud and this happens all the time and ... |

I'm sorry League Girl but I think you have a very romantacised picture of the past. Child ate their meals in the nursery upstairs? That may have been true for a tiny minority of children. The vast majority were more likely to have been living in squalor, eating and sleeping in one slum room with th... |

Unfortunately though, a lot of the time, when they're acting up it is best to IGNORE them until they find it pointless and calm down. If you take them out of that environment you're giving them attention, and will more than likely lengthen the tantrum. Sometimes they're acting up because they don't ... |

Sorry, think I'm getting dragged into the unreasonable argumentative bunch on this thread! I'm sure someone will say that at some point; just pre-empting it! |

b) BS; the baby can be bottlefed when they're in public. c) So? That's absolutely no reason to do it in public. As I said previously, babies can't just switch like that. They have preferences, as do we, and if they're used to feeding on natural milk, from a natural orifice, they will more than like... |

So this thread has gone from unruly children being banned from a restaurant, to mothers should never breastfeed in public? Because it's supposedly disgusting?! What I find disgusting is being subjected to adults who can't keep their mouth shut when they're eating, which happens constantly. What I al... |

Demands for compensation are hardly going to help the clean-up or repair work. Maybe the "victims" should hang fire until that is paid for? After all, whilst they may be losing money now, they will be permanently out of work if the clean-up isn't as effective as possible. |

I thought I was a 32 C, but when I did that calculator you posted a while back it turned out to be 28 C. I'm now spilling out of my 32 C, but that's because I'm pregnant and my boobs are just getting humongous (to me as I'm used to little ones!). I just measured using a different on-line calculator,... |

I think it was just a bad reaction to an otherwise acceptable response. But tbh I don't really give a s**t if people don't like what I say.. mostly because it's, more often than not, right |
