I've done some CGI type animation and lately I have been learning to do flash animation.

Is it mostly technical animation, or is it stuff like character/enviornment/etc. animation? I mostly do 2D character animation myself.

@violets: I love them, too! Which of them is your favorite? Mine's Dusknoir. :) ^I like Misdreavus, Mismagius, and Mimikyu best. My favorite is Gengar, but I love them all a lot. The Litwick line, Misdreavus/Mismagius and Drifloon/Drifblim are some of my favorites! I'm also super excited fo...

Hi! I'm an art grad with a BFA in animation, and I was curious to see if there are any other animators/animation majors on here too.

Earthbound and Pokemon X. I'm taking a bit of a break from Earthbound at the moment, mostly since I just received X and Alpha Sapphire in the mail a few days ago for my birthday, but I'm planning on going back to Earthbound soon.

That's awesome! Do you have a certain style you like best? Does any cartoon give you inspiration? Oh jeez, there's a lot of stuff that's been a big influence on me. A lot of older cartoons in the 90's, like Hey Arnold are one, along with the basics like Disney and Studio Ghibli, but I think one of ...

Hi violets, nice to meet you. I was diagnosed in January of this year, have your doctor recommended you see a psychologist for a diagnosis or just asking you to look into it? Many people start with their GP for a recommendation on where to go. I went to a counselor who was able to find a place for ...

I graduated from college with a BFA in animation about a year ago, and ever since I've been struggling to hold a job. I ended up losing my first post college job after I moved. I was extremely stressed and I got very sick and was unable to keep my attendance up. I had a job for a few months at a gro...

Undertale is only okay, and while I'm glad it got attention, I don't think it deserves to be as popular as it ended up being since a lot of the "meaningful" stuff is made into moot points or is unclear as to what its actual message is, and a lot of the humor is really "meme"-y an...

Huh, I've never heard this before. In my case, sex and related stuff like that actually really freaks me out. I have a few friends online with certain... "interests" and while that's cool in my book, if I even see something slightly related to it whenever they talk, I freak out. I've chuck...

Hi, my name is violets. My doctor recommended that I check out this site, as she believes that I have Asperger's. I'm an art school grad and I'm really struggling with life stuff right now, so I figured it'd be a good idea to join, since I feel like I need the extra support, and to see if I can get ...
