Firstly, Ink blot tests are rubbish, you need to get another doctor.

I consider myself an "introverted extrovert." In that I am pretty chatty and outgoing when I am interested in what is going on or what is being talked about.

Thing is, AS does not require a high IQ, just a normal one.

If the iTunes music is purchased, she will have to "authorize" that computer to play them. If its just CDs she ripped you should be ok.

I think it is especially interesting that the "mirror neurons" are in the motor cortex. Perhaps a problem there could explain why many aspies have motor and empathy problems....

I am willing to bet however that if the extreme male brain theory is true that there will be a lower number of gay men on the spectrum than the general population and the opposite will hold true for lesbians. This is on my list of studies to do at some point. (I'm a researcher) I don't think you ne...

Basically that used to be the only way I "could" socialize with some effectiveness. It also had a downside as it was sometimes hard to moderate the safe levels...you had to know the level of alcohol that made you social...and the level of alcohol that turned you into an a$$ & the level of alcoh...

Are people who wear camouflage and aren't in the military posers?

Most people wear "Tennis Shoes" often and aren't tennis players. ("Tennies" if you are in the UK)

I wouldn't worry about it, only elitists throw out the poser card and most people don't care about details that mundane.

There really is no equivalent to GCSEs over here, period. As for A levels, Most (decent) American high schools have AP courses (or IB), and students take usually 0-3 or 4 a year in addition to subjects they are not specializing in, ie "Jimbo" might take AP Calc, AP Comp Sci, and AP Physics but then ...

I also can't stand that. I hate how windows users I know point out every time something goes wrong with macs (like a new security hole) and call me out on it when I could spend all day going on about the flaws in their OS. One of my friends works in an engineering lab and says they hate macs because...

When I first meet people I have a hard time remembering what they look like. I can tell you what color hair they have, skin tone, race etc but until Ive known them for a few weeks its hard. I also find that if I like a girl and we start going out, I instantly draw a blank on what they look like!! !!...

Thats why I select "I do not know if I have aspergers" in my profile. Seems if you were consistent you would have listed the same. Then whats the point of the "undiagnosed" option? The entire premise of your posts is to discredit unofficial diagnostics. A person who accepts that unofficial self-dia...

The stuff made me suicidal. And that was just after the first dose. Of course we didn't know about my AS then (I was only diagnosed with ADHD at the time). Edit: I think this is a very old thread. It is true that ADHD meds can make you feel in the dumps at times, but they do NOT make you suicidal, ...

Ironically I see RockoTDF list he has undiagnosed aspergers. 0_equals_true and I wrote javascript version of a schizotypal personality disorder test I found online that has been empirically tested. I did add a between option of "maybe". Personally I think a between option is critical. I also ...
