I don't mind chatting on the phone, as long as it's not just idle chatter but about something constructive. Like discussing something work-related with a colleague. Idle chatter is not my forte. And I prefer SMS messages to phone conversations.

I'm sorry, but you'll have to rant about the "racist" Dutch alone from now on. I'm not playing anymore. Refer to my above message for further information.

"Allochtoon" means "foreigner". How racist! 8O  "To tilt at windmills" is a very common and usual English expression, derived from a Spanish novel by Cervantes. It means: fighting a hopeless battle you can't possibly win. The flame war ends here. I am here to learn, share experiences and storie...

Sinterklaas is a character from Dutch folklore and is meant to make little children happy. "But the kiddies love the big slaveowner! " 8O That's not much of a reason to defend racist stereotypes. Were you even paying attention!?! 8O :o Buddy, wake up to reality: it's you who is the ethnophobe aroun...

UncleBeer. Buddy. Hearken to my words and heed them well. Sinterklaas is not racist. Never was, is not, and never will be. Sinterklaas is a character from Dutch folklore and is meant to make little children happy. That has nothing, I repeat: nothing to do with racism. Period. Really. Stop tilting at...

A similar law takes effect in Holland on July 1st. Except . . . police officials have publicly stated they'll refuse to enforce it. No. In fact, the rule will be enforced in all cases with (virtually) no exceptions. Some bars have even chosen to be ahead of schedule and have decided to enfor...

I like Nightwish a lot. And when it comes to that kind of music (metal with classical influences and a female singer) I also like Within Temptation and - especially - Lacuna Coil. And then there's that band Ueickap from Sicily (pronounce as "wake up"), which is imo also very good.

I don't really stim when listering to music. At least not physically. But what I often do is - when there's a male singer - imagine that I'm singing instead, in front of a huge crowd that is going crazy. But I guess that's not really stimming, it's more like daydreaming.

I don't know much about it. All I know is that it has to do with the way information from the senses is processed in the brain. -- I just noticed an interesting article on Wikipedia about sensory integration disorder: click here . Who is more talented: W.A. Mozart (the composer) or Slash (Guns n' Ro...

Build a bombproof shelter in which I'd store as much literature and documentation about the human race as possible. Hopefully this shelter would survive long enough for a new intelligent race to be able to discover it again, and learn about our culture - and, hopefully, to learn from our mistakes wh...
